When using our Growth Chart Components you will have access to the following features:
| Image Processing | |
|
When drawing the charts on the screen, the component uses an image-processing algorithm in order to enhance the graphical quality when viewing the chart on screen. The difference is obvious.

| Enter measurements | |
 |
Possibility to enter various variables and measurements such as height, weight and pubertal information. Feed the component with the data and watch the data automatically being plotted on the chart.
|
| Set of Growth Charts | |
 |
For each version of the component a set of charts is included. Default charts are normally height, weight, BMI, head circumference, height velocity, and premature charts. In addition disease specific charts are also available. See each country version of the component for specific details.

| Automatic calculations | |
|
Instead of troubling yourself with complex calculations, let the program do automatic calculations e.g. of SD scores, target height, BMI and height velocity. Have the measured and calculated values presented in clear tables.

| Interactivity | |
 |
Work with the charts in an interactive way. Zoom the graph directly by selecting a part of the graph with the mouse for more accurate reading. Right click on the chart and a pop-up menu is shown where you can choose to zoom or copy the graph to the clipboard. Move over the plotted points with the mouse for hints with the exact values or for other features. These hints and features are customizable, and can be modified by the integrator.

| High Quality Printouts | |

All the charts created by the component can easily be printed. The printouts are very sophisticated and look exactly like the official paper copies.

| Export charts | |
|
All charts can be copied to the clipboard and exported into other programs such as PowerPoint and Word, which can be useful e.g. when making presentations.

| Save chart as | |
 |
When exporting the charts to other programs, it is also possible to save them using different file formats such as JPEG, GIF, PNG, and EMF.

| Easy integration | |
|
The charts are easy to integrate into an already existing application. The component is an ActiveX Control and it can and have been integrated into applications written in e.g. C#, Java, VB.NET, VB, Delphi and others. It has also has been integrated in Windows applications as well as web applications.

| Reference library | |
|
The PC PAL growth charts are created using an extensive library of reference material. All references can be added to any growth chart template upon request.
