French Growth Charts

The Growth Chart Component for France is developed using the charts from the Carnet de Santé as reference. The charts used in the component have thereby the same look as the official charts used in France.

Specific for the French growth chart component is that the charts have a basic layout, with linear scales and millimeter grading, and can therefore be used in any country just by changing the references.

The French growth chart component consists of nine pages and presents one chart per page with the following data:

• Individual growth charts for boys and girls (all with 3rd, 25th, 75th and 97th percentile lines, except for BMI)

0-3 years

• Height (Taille)
• Parents height (Taille des parents)
• Weight (Poids)
• Parents weight (Poids des parents)
• Head circumference (Périmètre crânien)
• Sitting height (Taille assis)

3-11 years

• Height (Taille)
• Parents height (Taille des parents)
• Weight (Poids)
• Parents weight (Poids des parents)
• Sitting height (Taille assis)

9-22 years

• Height (Taille)
• Parents height (Taille des parents)
• Weight (Poids)
• Parents weight (Poids des parents)
• Sitting height (Taille assis)

0-22 years

• Height velocity (Accroissements staturaux)
• BMI (Evaluation de la corpulence chez les filles/garçons au cours de la croissance)
